Innovation with guardrails.
The problem
AI in classrooms cannot be a free-for-all. Without shared principles around bias, privacy, and student data, even the best tools can do harm.
The goal
Pilot educational sessions and trainings on responsible AI use that may be rolled out network-wide — so every Ednovate classroom is grounded in equity, safety, and good judgment.
Approach
Design and pilot AI safety trainings for educators
Open discussion of bias, privacy, and student data considerations
Teach educators why it's our responsibility to build critical thinking skills in a world of AI
Refine sessions for potential network-wide rollout
What this pilot is — and isn't
Guardrails exist because people matter more than tools. This strand is the network's commitment that nothing gets near a classroom without educators interrogating its bias, its privacy footprint, and its impact on student thinking. Our responsibility is to make sure technology serves kids and teachers — not the other way around.
